Lettering artwork featuring Malboro from Final Fantasy. In 2014 I made a tiny scribble picturing a creature from video game series Final Fantasy combined with a loose hand-lettered text. Over the years some more scribbles followed until I decided to turn it into a series.
Kiss is the first of a set of greeting cards hinting at the “unique” odor of a Marlboro’s breath. The illustration comes along with lyrics from The Cure’s “Why Can’t I Be You“.
