100 Days of Kana

10 DAYS。100 MEMORIES。

In March 2015 I visited Japan for the first time and for only ten days. Not much time to comprehend what’s actually happening, but enough time to realize that this journey would end too soon.

To extend my trip – mentally at least – I decided to put my memories and experience on 20x20cm paper while illustrating one Japanese syllable. I followed the call by The Great Discontent and turned my sentimental approach into a daily challenge where I created one small illustration for about 100 days.
